Anatomy of the canabis plants

What we do and how we do it

Rare Earth Craft Cannabis is a minority-owned, small, family business with one passion and goal in mind: to provide the cleanest, highest-quality medicine to patients. We achieve this by growing our cultivars in organic, no-till living soil, which provides the nutrients they need to flourish. Microbes break down organic material in the soil, which is then made into digestible nutrients for our plants. We do not rush any of our processes and let the plants lead the way, as quality is our focus. This also means that our flower is dried and cured until it’s ready. While this is our main goal and focus, there are others we are passionate about, too.

We utilize green and sustainable growing practices because we also understand how important it is to minimize our damage to the environment. We do not use chemical pesticides or fertilizers. We do not throw away our soil after each run. Instead, we use amendments to bring nutrient levels back up so we can reuse it. We also use green and biodegradable packaging to minimize waste. We think of our footprint and how to minimize it in every way we can.

Back to the patients. They are at the center of why we grow the way we do. This is a powerful plant that can provide powerful relief, which is why it is grown with no synthetic chemicals. From our compost teas to our soil amendments, everything we use to grow our cultivars is found in nature. Just as nature intended—no frills, no additives, no gimmicks. All natural, all organic, and hand-crafted in South Dakota.
